some of the "bitza" builds that people donated stuff to were pretty fugly but she still ripped on them

That bike looks absolutely awful but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter what bike Shanaze rides cos she's gonna rock it to first place.

Redline should know better though.  They've been around long enough to come up with something way better than that.  Heck, their Flight Series bikes look better than that straight outta the box.

BCF are allegedly developing their own BMX bike for future Olympians.  If they design BMX bikes like they run the sport it'll be a right fooking pigs ear.

I quite like the paint job, just the design of the forks makes it look wrong, looks old school with bars forward and forks raked. But if you look at the bars they are actually angled back slightly.
Mike think it's probably just a Redline frame, just BC forks and paintjob. Stems nice but not with that bike, should have got a white one and copied the frame paintjob. IMO
Or just blinged it gold to match the medal

I know Gary.  It's just the forks that are a BC abortion at the moment.

I think the bike as a whole looks ghastly though.  Which is a shame cos I think Redlines are the best off the shelf race bikes around at the moment so it's a bit ironic they put their No.1 Pro on something that looks worse than their stock bikes.

The forks look like a beefed up version of the redline mini forks, that all the mini dads are raving about.

Those Redline frames are very good race frames.  It's just the forks, saddle, chainring and paintjob on Shanaze's bike that make it look wack.

The forks are not BC forks they were developed by F1 Technolgies at a cost of £15000 a pair and shinnie has got the only 2 pair in the world and the spray job was done by Terry Dolan as regards the frame it is made by Redline but with Shinnies own required geometry, and the whole thing weighs 8kg
