My Mid School Show and Shine PK RIPPER
« on: August 07, 2008, 06:27 PM »
Here we go - first up can I say that Im chuffed to bits, and so pleased that Alex and I cleaned up in this category! Though his mad dog should have won it really. No matter - im pleased with my builds - and would like to share them with you
first up here's my pk ripper - and I'll post pics of my S&M Holmes later on.

2nd place in mid school race show and shine -
anodised purple 1991 pitbull mount pk ripper., SE did these around this time, not many I believe - and love it or hate it, I did this to show what was going on at the time - funky colours, suspension forks etc etc.
Im really pleased with this build - it was a true labour of love to get it done. Hope you like!

parts list -
pk ripper xl frame anodised purple
answer pro forx
vp chrome headset
Crupi stem
Auburn CR20 bars square section cross bar
EZ Jive purple grips
Tech 77 lever with Odi brake neck
Pitbull brake
Primo Rod chrome post
Vetta Gel Turbo seat
Fusion alloy cranks
Fusion Nuke ring
kmc chain
wellgo dx pedals [ soon to be replaced by odyssey triple traps]
SE black/white padset
Tioga COmp 3 rainbow label 1.75/2.125 tyres
Odyssey T1000 rims, TNT Derringer sealed hubs

Cheers!
steve

That's a classic looking Ripper there Steve, exactly what Rippers should look like (apart from the kooky forks  ;) ).

Absolutely loving that, its the one that stood out for me in all the MK pics I've seen.

Any chance of some pics with it on its own and a plain background so we can see it properly :daumenhoch:

i found that beautiful steve. i loved it because you used parts from the correct era. my favorite bit has got to be the forks, how rare are they? do they go for alot, never seen a pair before!!...
