the thread anyway back to subject this last race will be nuts for everyone
involved 2 points between 1st and 2nd 3 points between 3rd and 4th there
will even be a fight for top 8 cant wait, think i heard darren say it was his 40th
on the Sat dont drink to much mate, finally my arm has just started to stop
hurting just glad as it could have been alot worse.

I didn't think many would be up for Bournemouth being the last race of the season, also with only the top 5 scores counting didn't think it'd make much difference in the points.

Looks like I was wrong LOL

Gonna be a bit of a mad one for the last regional of the season!

So who is going then?

Im not going to be able to make the last round now :(. Had an accident at the weekend at work. Im off work and in lots of pain. I slipped and fell bout 6ft and landed on a bent metal plate on my back, just to the right of spine. Doctors have told me it is just muscel damage, but i can hardly move at the moment.  :'(
Hope to be fit and well in time for the Brits  :2gunsfiring_v1:

Oh no mate!! Gutted for you, sounds just like the injury i got last year when i flipped over the bars at a dragon DH race landed on a cut off tree stump with the base of my spine!! Agony!!
Why dont you come down to watch anyway, sure we'll all wish you a happy birthday.

Get well soon!! Hurry back, racing wont be so 'interesting' without you!!!   ;)

Get well soon Darren.  It's a real shame that a poxy work accident is going to stop you doing battle with Kev at the last round for the No.3 plate.

Lots of battles to be settled at B'mouth on Sunday.

Jon -v- Keith for No.1
Phil could move into the 4 spot if he gets a good result.
Phil -v- Matt for the No.5 plate if Phil doesn't get the result he needs to overtake Darren
Roonga -v- Lee Harrison for the No.9 plate

At the start of the day I was the only one with nothing left to play for as I seem to be safe in the 8 spot.  But now that Darren is injured, Kev is also safe in the 3 spot.  Perhaps me and Kev will be the spoilers on the day  ;)

Genuinly gutted for you Darren it would have made the last final
really interesting as we needed to beat each other for 3rd
and Jon and Keith will both be going for it big time, hope
your healed for the brits we want as many South 40+ in that
main as possible.

Cos you're currently in 14th on 102.5 points but have only done 4 rounds.  So if you score (for the sake of argument) 25.5 points (your rough average for this season) you'll have 128 points which will leapfrog you to 9th or 10th place (depending on Roonga's results) cos the people in 9th, 10th, 12th and 13th aren't doing B'Mouth.

Only best 5 results count, so all your points at Bournemouth will be added to your current 102.5.  The rest of us who have already done 5 rounds will only score points if we better our current 5th best result.

Bonjour Daviid,

Yeah, come along. pics at Bournemouth come out really good because the track surface is almost white & when its sunny makes a perfect backdrop, sometimes its hard to believe the pics from there arent taken in California or somewhere!!  ;)

Def need a cheer as Jon will be hard to beat there as its his home track!!!

Travis & Renée will love it if you bring the pics buddy!

Hope to see you then.

Keith

Should be fun, and I have a sneeky feeling there'll be a few more there than we have been thinking. (Last points to be made etc.)

I was hoping to be able to roll around and still get 8th on the day to give me a top 10 plate for the series, but looks like I'll have to fight for any extra points.

See ya Sunday!
