its a step up step down at the end of the second straight and its quite large.

can't wait for it to be finished cos theirs gonna be some big jumps on the track and its gonna be awesome :)

think im gonna have to retire the challenger to the 'hall of fame' and use the 38 special as my track bike  :daumenhoch:

I had a look this afternoon.  That step up step down thing at the end of the second straight is massive, the doubles on the first straight are looking good. The exit on the second berm is pointing back up to the first straight.

I'm not convinced, but it's still early days.

Slightly but I think it just looks that way because it isn't finished . From other places it looks down hill !

There's always someone who fooking moans Ffs  :LolLolLolLol:

Six straights to four on same incline, downhill should be a bit of a no Brainer n easy to define from pics from any angle, an uphill straigt n the track's gonna suffer

Start is in the same place, finish looks like it's in the same place.  It's going to go down hill at some point ;D

Have faith, the second straight goes downhill more than it used to. The berms will be completed first due to access for wagons to deliver the tarmac. Everything is coming together gradually as we hope it will. This will be a National standard track so everything will be a lot bigger than th e old track.

Steve , I have to say there has been a lot of work done and it all looks good to me the berms look perfect and they are massive  !! The "thing"at the end of the second straight looks awesome and better than most stuff I have seen on the tracks I have ridden this season . I am sure that the track will stand us all on an equal footing with some of the other north region riders !
Keep up the good work !!

Dead mans hollow used to be on the other side of the start hill, in the kind of flatish bit at the back.  Legend has it they filled it with rubbish so we cant dig up that part for obvious reasons, hence why we never got the play trails / pump track I always wanted!!!

Its still a work in progress and will be for a few weeks yet, so long as you enter the burms and exit the burms at roughly the lowest point I will be happy.  Its funny though, I crave hartlepool town here in Manc, I am not built for pedalling this much!
