Right Guys,

We've just had the nod from Roger at BCF that we can run a class again this year at the Brits.

It will be run on the same basis as last year, 25 squid sees you in on this one and ALL monies raised will be donated to this years nominated charity

http://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/

We will as last year crown an overall British Champion for the Old School.

The event this year is at Peterborough, check their website for track info and details of when you can join in sneaky practise sessions.

http://www.phantomsbmx.ukonline.co.uk/

The event will be held 23rd/24th August.  You will be able to camp trackside for 20.00

RAD BMX have kindly agreed to sponsor the plates for this so big thanks to them.

Please add your names to this thread so that i can collate entries.  I will need riders full names and Rad user name.  Race numbers will be allocated on the day.

IT WOULD BE FANTASTIC TO SEE SOME OF OUR SCOTTISH/MIDLANDS AND NORTHERN CONTINGENT AT THIS SO GET YOUR NAME DOWN AND HELP THE OLD SCHOOL MAKE A SICK CHILDS WISH COME TRUE  :daumenhoch:

Excellent news. I was planning to attend anyway, just for the craic, as I did last year at Burnham. Peterborough was my home club until moving back to Scotland at the back end of last year. Great track, not really old school friendly though :LolLolLolLol:  Especially now with all the work Messers Hill and Godden have done to the third straight. Should be awesome though.

I will speak to the Scottish crew on Sunday and see who else is up for coming down.

Marc :daumenhoch:

Put me down anyway plate number 7

Double points??  That's a bit unfair to the riders that can't make it??  How will that fit in with the points table. Sorry I just think this is a bit unfair to throw this in at the end??

Si, there's a really big jump at Peterborough where you dissapear out of view from the spectators- You and Russ could do you're cottaging there next time...instead of in front of the bloody kids like at Lytham. Disgusting.

Debating adding my name to the list but I rode the old P'boro and it almost killed me!!  And I'm a few years older now.  Will see if I survive two weeks of riding & racing in Cornwall before I commit myself, or have myself committed, but will gladly chuck in a pony to swell the coffers anyway.  If I ride it solves the perpetual problem of who comes last - sorted!!  Humps

I'll do old school at the Brits if I can't jump the first straight on my cruiser (cos I'll be getting moto'd in 40+ if I can't jump them).

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'
