figured my first post better be a good one
« on: July 13, 2008, 01:58 AM »
:4_17_5:    been collecting/restoring since early 1999 and rarely post on any of the vintage/oldschool forums. i guess the older i get am starting to realise i don't like keeping everything to myself.

came across these today and just had to share.seems like there is a pretty big s&m crowd here.
i do have the bb for them just not pictured. trying to decide whether to throw a coat of clear paint on them or cover them all in red.

any suggestions?

enjoy

hello there, nice cranks. Id paint them red, but Im always fan of the used look too.

The fact that the paint is worn is a good sign, they look like they have been used have lasted well. If you put them on a bike make sure you are verrrry light on them. There aint many left in one piece.

thanks for the welcome everybone  :)
as soon as i locate a 95 dirbike they will be going on it..thinking i should probably spray some red on them like you guys are suggesting.they have been used almost every day since new and deserve some fresh paint.have another bike for my daily rider so these cranks will definately be babied.
i really have to get around to submitting better pictures but here is my 90 holmes xl .am sure many of you have already seen it on the other site.also in the process of buying a 92? army green holmes. just have to convince the owner to part with it .
