I was banned by Pete for taking loads of pics this year because I'm always behind the lens...so this time I just took a few snaps and pete did a few too.

I don't have to tell you how rad Paul Meacher was - an amazing 5th place in Pro Vert against an amazing line-up. He even beat Daniel Dhers ffs. Paul completed his run with wall to wall perfection: flair, whip, 540, whip. Job done.

Anyhow, you might know this fella, complete with RADBMX t-shirt:

Billy & Joe Stupple made history with the first ever father/son vert entry. Bill impressed the crowds with a couple of mad old-school drop-in's and little Joe banged out some nice variations. They finished joint 6th!

Rich Dirtyvans also banged it out big on the Amater Vert - taking 5th place...but could have easily taken 1st if his comp run had been as good as warm-up. Mind you he was fooking rad! That's Daniel Dhers watching him...

Other triumphs of the weekend:

An awesome weekend yet again. Big up to the Radsters that came and made it the best yet!

gotta say what a laugh this year was, the riding was off the wall as usual and so was the drinking

that's the most i remember, pat being pat got us barred from 3 bars on the first night,

again barred from our hotel bar, they refused to serve us so brought in our own which everone done,

on the third night been told to go to bed

that didnt go down to well

pat nearly killing cam hardy for nicking his bottle of beer then on the last night the gay pride in town

was on and the meet up at the hard rock cafe was a rite laugh, chris mohoney chatting up the gays was

a treat and to top it all had an arm wrestle with kevin robison

held me own for a short while but got beat

far and square, fook me he's a lump still he came up to me shook me hand and said i was a strong fooker

brilliant time and looking forward to next year

that air pic was from the pro practice! i got stuck on the ramp while talking to Pascal Bacuet, my star rider from last year, he took part and schredded in each event, next thing i look up and Simon Tabron, Daniel Dhers and Zac Shaw were taking turns.

Paul M was the star of the weekend by a long way and well deserved his high final placing in a real tough final

it really made my weekend

Loads of the southsea younguns did real well too
