Thread on the forks
« on: June 29, 2008, 11:48 AM »
I need help, i recently bought a new set of forks, 1" and threaded. I then bought a 1" headset. I installed all of the Bearing cups, and then got onto the bits that screw on. As i was screwing the first part on i noticed it was getting stiffer and tighter the more i turned it, untill it eventually stopped. I manged to get it off again but it won't screw on any further i think the thread maybe fukd can you get them re threaded?   :daumenhoch:

:) Personally I wouldn`t trust Halfrauds to screw on a dustcap! You could be in for having your forks converted to 7/8 threadless knowing those monkeys!!!
