'New Build. Custom Decals and advice needed. Thanks!
« on: May 28, 2008, 11:27 PM »

I have just had my f+f+Bars painted and I am in need of some decals.

Is there anyone on this site who can make some up for me based on Zebra stripes?

I dont really know much about the decals side of things so I will need some advice.

Hopefully the effect I am looking for can be achieved so that I can get the bike to look the way I want it to.

Lola, what colours will u be requiring?

Depending on amount, there should be no cost.
I plan to save off cuts from a job and hand cut the stripes myself.

When do you require them, and will you be applying them yourself?

well shoot dont really matter now does it as the cats outa the bag anyway yea white and black they need to be like zebra stripes so they are not perfect stripes more wavey than anything, jagged i dont know easy to look at a pic of zebra and get an idea from that.
I will possibly be doing them myself. And there is no rush, might be nice to have it done before creation comes around, thanks alot sean  :) xo

Aaah!
As i understood it u was having the bike painted white?

It would be very hard to apply them that way Lola, u would either have to cover the frame in white vinyl first (which has been tried before.....and failed) and then apply the "stripes" afterwards. Or fit them side by side like a big sticky jigsaw puzzle......a true patients tester if ever there was one!

My advice is to get the frame painted white by SBD (pukka job) and then just applying the zebra's would be a breeze  :daumenhoch:
