remove the crank from the frame.

put it in a vice.

spray with plusgas

leave overnight

spray again

leave again

good quality spanner, no cheap shit, scaffold tube over the spanner shaft, bobs your uncle.

alternatively, get another crank. I have a mk1 burner crank with a red chainwheel in the shed if you need it.

Ah, you cant remove it cos its the chainring side.

hmmmm...

Id fasten it all back up use the plusgas again, and try to lock the crankarm to the chainstays with levers, straps etc, so it deosnt move when you apply force to the pedal, and yes, remember to spin it the right way.

personally id have the angle grinder through it and get another crank.

Thats the problems the crank can't be removed so the frame is in the way and you can't get any leverage on the pedal

Help!!!!!!!

you can if you strap the crank arm to the frame.

I tell you, youve gotta be prepared to do a bit of groundwork with pedals, or they will never come off.

as the first reply, are you turning it the right way.

if it's the none drive side as you look at it from the side it undoes in the direction you'd expect it to do up., ie, the pedalling action would tighten it. this is why you don't need your pedals to be done up mega tight.
