I only got to know Keith this season (known of him for a while but not in person) and his riding always impresses.

the athertons who race the elites were only 50 sec quicker.

i've riden Ae forest aswell it's an awesome track.

Cheers chaps, time would've been tons better if i hadnt lost my left shoe halfway down the course & had to ride on my left sock only!! OUCH!!!  :'(

Flippin' heck Keith, that must have hurt. :shocked:

That story reminds me of when John Purse has to jump the pro section to win in his sock at the RM tropical challenge in Puerto Rica a few years ago (Transit 6 i think?).

Funny how age catches up on you, it was only a few years ago i switched classes to race the Athertons to get some competition from them & beat them easily!!! Check the results on www.mikrotime.com/mtb/ph2001/wsc04.html  senior men
If only i could now (even beating Rachel now would be awesome!!)   :-[ :'(
