They are expensive but IMHO they are worth it.  I am also on the look out for a Gen 1 so if anyone knows of one in any condition whatsoever PLEASE think of me and let me know  :daumenhoch:.

BTW, apologies for the thread hijack  :-[.

I travelled to Romford about 5 months ago to look at a Gen 1 a bloke was selling on the bay. All i had to do was hand over £400 there and then and it was mine. It had the wrong forks and i decided that i wouldnt pay that much. I tried to knock him down and he had none of it and he ended up getting just under £400 on the bay after letting the auction run. I kind of regret it now. :'(

Yeah, I'd never had sold my Gen 1 with Profiles for not a lot of money to buy a set of Revolution 4 spoke wheels for my Escort from Lee Shurey  :tickedoff:  :LolLolLolLol:

I believe that the GEN 1 is the only bike currently that would break the 2k mark purely because they are rare as fook to source at the moment.  And that is in todays market!

i know its not a haro but wots a early 80's looptail quadangle unstamped landing gear worth  :-\ quite rare aswell araya 7c shimano hubs, shimano tourney brakes, kkt lightning pedals,se bars,se post,dc seat clamp, tuf neck stem(near nos) oakley grips,se camo pad set original, all nos(frame and forks not nos though, ;) wish they were)

I bought a NOS 1983 Candy blue Quad f+f with unstamped LG's recently for £500 posted.

I dont think your loopy would be attractive to someone as a complete bike at the moment. Not saying it isnt nice cos i think it is  :smitten: but i just dont think the money is about. I would say £450. :-\ for the f+f. ;)

Sorry but £450 for a loopy quad ! ( and the rest !! )  :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:
