I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,

It has to be the Pro Burner. Looks like it has just come out of the shop.

Didn't think they actually ever sold any of em. :o

I remember when I got my Burner back in 82, I saw the Pro in the Raleigh brochure and really wanted one. Only ever saw one in a shop though.

It's a damn good effort and deserves the votes.

That Pro is awesome. Not a bike I would buy, but you have to give it the credit it deserves.

Hi all - the vote is in.  :santa_afro:

I just had to spend a few quite moments with pencil and paper and make notes of each build that just took me away. I have been browsing the pics for days. It is great that there are so many different builds, and that we all like different types because the result is that there are so many amazing bikes out there. I started with a Haro, 3 Hutches (and i'm not a big fan), JMC, Raleigh, Robinson and the MBK.

From the 8 at the start, and that was from being very ruthless as there are just so many Gems, I then picked down to 5, but could not get any lower.

In the end I voted from which bike I could imagine riding and that could take my weight and also give the grin factor - so as Rich did, in the end went with my heart.

Thanks all, I'm so glad to be back in a great hobby where so much time and pride is taken by all into their bikes, here's to an even better 2006 where more finished old school builds will come to light.....

Cheers.
