I've not been there for about 15 years, it was on private ground, the last time I was there we were chased off..
Thinking back, it did seem to rain alot.

Jason still races now in 30+, top bloke, if a little short. ;)

I raced in the same agegroup as you then, but I did NBMXA in EA (UKBMX I did region 9). I raced against Millsey in the 80s a bit, so I might have raced you at some point. :daumenhoch:

Paul 'Paddy' Baker raced for Brandon I think, same age as us, do you remember him? He still races now, more 4X than BMX these days.

Hehe, i cant comment too much on the height, i forgot to stand in line when they were dishing the tall genes out as well.
We may well have raced, I was ok, nothing special mind, traded places with Jason alot.
A couple of names I can remember, Jim pestell, Simon browning, Richard everett? I think he was an ipswich guy..

Hehe. Great photos. I think i was there that day.Sure i have some photos as well somewhere. Remember Ruffell and Jay Maloney with their white Holeshot Hoodies all dirty at the back.

Good that someone got Andys bike on film, putting to bed the old wives tale that he never ran Redline Flights, only Aerospeeds.

Whether or not its true i dont know but after the threads stripped on those Aerospeeds i never saw him use them again.

Got to admit it, Ruffell was the man back then..

Pleasurewood hlls part 2....

First jump into pro section, inside line was steep, hard to speed jump even for pros...

Cool as GT team van, with fake side exit exhausts(check the pea shooter at the back)
