Yep, went there a couple of times when we'd been to Meanwhile, always had a fooking great big chain across it, so never rode it.

:) That`s the bugger! Used to cover it in Rolacola to stop sliding about.! Only time I went there on my bike I got a load of attitude from Paul Sunman from Edge Magazine?/Slam City,`cos I don`t think he was too keen on BMX....

Great Photo's  :daumenhoch:

There used to be a massive Hafl pipe at Crystal Palice which was painted Blue, but the skaters & boarders used to lock it with a big piece of 6x6 so BMXers could not used it  >:(

The Crystal Palace halfpipe was possibly the first of its type in the country.  Andy Peerless was involved in its move and his name became linked to ramp building as early as about 1980ish because of that.

So where in relation to that Latimer Road ramp is Bay66?

Gotcha.  Under the same bit of elevated road though?  Those pics look like the spot where we built a course for the Snakeboard World Champs one year in the 90s.

Snakeboards.....  what the hell were they all about??   ;D

We just built the ramps and took the money.........  ;)

Although, those ramps ended up in Bay66.  Ever wondered why the jumpbox was so small?  now you know   ;) ;D
