Ruler   :4_17_5:

That ramp was lop sided too, it was falling into the railway sidings....

Still to this day, the only rider I've ever seen who stopped an entire skatepark in its tracks. Everyone watched, and I do mean everyone   :daumenhoch:

That looks like he is riding his TA with a bolt on 990 at the BB, and King forks. I bet the front end of that frame didnt last long with those strong old forks on there!

Jerry is the best person to watch ride vert! Full Stop!

Easily one of my all-time fav riders. I was probaly there that weekend at Leigh-On-Sea & I imagine Alex had his matt black Astra estate? Was this the weekend when they took the fly off over to the big grass bank & Jon Pratt was ghost riding some random bike when the kid walked up & just said "errr excuse me mate, can I have my bike back please?"  :LolLolLolLol:

Back to Gerry tho, he ALWAYS made King of Concrete worth it for me, always a pleasure to watch & MC!

Unsung hero is Gerry!

I may have been there that day as i remember seeing him ride L-O-S a couple of times, it was my local park.  :'(

Was that one of Steve Jacksons comps? It may have been the one i entered amateur...........................and finished last,  ??? i cant understand it, i mean i done all my tricks: Er, a nosepick or 3, a couple of hip transfers and i went over both spines  :-[

I only entered because Steve hounded me, he was short on numbers for the am group.  ;D

The "R"  ;)

A style all of his own, never seen him ride in the flesh but seen him on stacks of 90's vids.
If I new he was going to rad meet at creation the other week I would have made the 200 mile trip to see him ride.

I wondered if those pics were from that contest.

Thats a proper vertical blunt there Alex - how much did that backrail move when you hit it?

I tried it twice but the rail moved loads. I was going to give up but I saw that a massive German bloke was holding the rail, really putting some effort into it so I had to have another go. It all worked out, I made the rollback and everything.

Here is that trick, and more Lea stuff on Youtube (Filmed by BSD Grant)

Pretty sure it was a Steve Jackson comp, anyone know where he is now. Saw him a few years ago at the Urban Games, but he always used to get the hump with me for calling him Janet.

On balance, at least I didn't call him Micheal.

I think it was that comp........If I remember correctly Shaun Scarfe was learning tricks in his comp runs!!!

I think Ive still got the flyer from that comp somewhere!

And yes! Jerry ripped on whatever he rode!!!
