No not Tiny Tims accessories but caliper brakes. I got a set on the front my new ride but wanna go to U brake. I have seen conversion plates n styff but wanna know what's available to me or good or shite.

ots have got a hofmann kit that has the plate adapter and a hofmann u brake...think it was around the 20 quid mark

Once you have fitted the brake plate, secure it to the fork legs with either a couple of big fat cable ties or a couple of jubilee clips so that all possible play is removed from it. The less play in that setup, the better.
I ran one for ages with no problems at all.

Me bikes got a caliper, and for the life of me its sh1t, its on there for British standards malarky, i think the idea is you run it with out the front brake but i want to run one.

Oooh thanks matey, will let ya know, getting a pass out tommorow so might hit the bike shop and spend some money, hopefully fit enough to make Skaterham on Monday too.
