French Exchange - Road Trip
« on: February 18, 2008, 01:27 PM »
Anyone fancy heading over the Channel and whipping the French at old school racing.

I remember seeing a video of their race last year. I just need to find out where there's a race going to be held and if it would be worth us attending.

Any of our French members able to help out with this?

WEll I haven't actually got a clue where to start really, I'm hoping some of the french guy's on here will be able to lend a hand and see what's out there. :LolLolLolLol:

Reckon an anglo french meet could be quite a good thing though. :daumenhoch:

Sorry can't help as far as the race info goes, we only moved back to France in September.
I'd be up for that though, and might be able to help out with accommodation if you're arriving via Calais

There`s one this weekend, with about 25 riders already going, but you had to register before the 5th Feb so you`re too late to go now  :(
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Near enough buddy, we're thirty miles down the autoroute in St Omer

Got two BMX tracks nearby, and France's best indoor skatepark is just over an hour away in Abbeville.

Could make a cool roadtrip: old school racing, skatepark riding and a couple of bottles of Leffe blonde  ;)
