here?

He has just pulled out of completing a valid win by me on one of his Ebay auctions because it didn't make what he wanted :2gunsfiring_v1:

Before I notify Ebay just figured I would see if anyone knows them, he is in UK.

I noticed in his auctions he tried to put reserves in but was too late ! .

You have a legally binding contract , no reserve is down to the seller !  :2gunsfiring_v1:

You will always get these half-wits playing by their own rules. Symptomatic of the state of the nation, I'm afraid to say. Shitty thing is, when you give them a Neg', you get one straight back from the cheeky feckers. :(

this is what he replied when I had asked for the postage for a red vinyl stem pad for my goose, won for £10.50

STEM PAD. im really sorry but i tried to put a reserve on this when i
saw there was no interest. so again im sorry but i cant let this go so
far under my intended reserve price. sorry to dissapoint. its my
fault i should have put a reserve from day 1 but i didnt think.

He should have fixed the reserve at the beginning of the auction - with over 100 feedback it's not like he's a novice is it  ::)

If he know's it's his fault then he won't mind if you give him a big fat 'neg' will he?

And he should still give you a positive for being so understanding and going round his gaff and breaking all his windows  :LolLolLolLol:

he's a fooking chancer!!!  :2gunsfiring_v1:

but i guess what can you do?!?  unless you know where he lives you're screwed i guess?  unless ebay have some balls and make him sell?

I've had the same thing with a buyer, i won a brand new Fly stem a while back for £15...........then he suddenly didn't have it and said he'd listed it by mistake!   >:(

I have just replied and said

Sorry to hear it didn't reach what you wanted, but you are obliged under Ebay rules to honour the auction.

If you don't proceed I have no option but to report the matter.

LMK

Polite enough and to the point I think.

I saw that the other bar pad he had up, which I also bid on reached £47 - daft money!

Rich,

That is what happened to me. I mailed for the postage cost and there was a longer than expected delay so I reminded him I was waiting on the price and then he pulled the deal.

I dont think you can remove your own listing any more can you ???? If you can maybe this is what the guy should have done instead of stitching somebody up like that.

Had you actually paid for the item ????

Ebay removed a listing from me two weeks ago due to me putting on there that i had advertised the fishing tackle elsewhere. They waited until the last day of a ten day listing when it was up at £40.  I was gutted.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Hadn't paid was just waitingon postage confirmation, like Rich is now on his 7L. Then when the guy found out what I won it for he wont complete.

i had exactly the same problem a few months back.
i won a sweet prolite f+f for £50 i was over the moon. then they guy
mailed me saying it was his mate frame
he'd gone off travelling and it was locked away in his garage  :wtf:

i called his bluff and told him i didnt mind waiting. but he eventually told me
he couldn't sell it at that price >:( >:( >:( >:(

if you  leave neg feedback, then they send you one back as revenge :Aresehole:
there's really nothing you can do about twats like this.
this is a perfect example of why we need a  list of people that mess you about on ebay
not on here ::)

Is there no way you can report the twat to Ebay?  I hate it when people do that, I was bidding on some stuff that the seller pulled because I was the only bidder and although there was a low starting price my max bid was quite high but I guess it's just the way it goes if it's pulled before it ends.

I once sold a 250mb Zip Drive for 1p as no-one else bid and the buyer collected and paid cash  :LolLolLolLol:
