Peterborough Today
« on: January 20, 2008, 06:59 PM »
Nearly home from Peterborough, what a great choice for the \brits this year!! It was a bit long and a bit boggy in places but once its dry it will be awesome.
Bit gutted only 2 old school turned up, so me and 796 had to race 15+. To make matters worse in the eastern region they run 4 motos, then semis and finals :idiot2:
Im still a bit slow after busting my thumb and managed to fall off on the start of moto 2. I managed a 2nd in my final on my new dialled bike ::)

Will post some pics later on.....

Well done the Phamtoms for staging a good race :daumenhoch: Really looking forward to the Btits now :daumenhoch:

That was proper old school weather.

The track rode about as well as it did in 1983 (cr@p).

I loved it though, would have mafe the F1 A if I hadnt forgoten how to balance on the gate in the semi....

There`s no problem with balance with a one pedal start Miles  :daumenhoch:
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,

Well done Chloe and Nik, Nik was awesome today, a real racer now, thought about every line he took and fought hard to get in front :daumenhoch:

Lee, I picked the dialled up of Darren, got one lap of practice in, then raced it. Crashed in the second moto, but tbh I love it already, I followed Darren round in the final for a 2nd place.

Shazza,

You should be WELL proud of lil Nick, when he hit that corner in 5th/6th i really thought he'd had it, as i screamed at him to "fkin pedal Nick" he gave me a well dirty look through his goggles but by god he peddalled after that, sod Olympin coaches, the OSS Queen hollerin at yer sprog works wonders :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

Chloe rocked as well today, bless her tho, mud just aint her thing, she just wanted her jazzy pink disco slippers back on :daumenhoch:

The 2 Tony's did well good in Nu Skool, the Dialled defo proved a success for my baby :daumenhoch:

Josh rocked against some HUGE sprogs and Emmanuel actually won a moto today and bagged himself a Dialled F & F courtesy of mum and Rat dad :daumenhoch:

Bring on the Brits, Peterborough track is wicked, pics coming soon :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

Fantastic Emmanuel getting a new bike , he rode better today than i've seen him ride in a long long time  :4_17_5:

These kids racing is going to cost us a fortune, Nicholas has decided he should have a new carbon fibre part for his bike seeing as he doesnt get a trophy when he gets no.1 ....AT EVERY RACE  :LolLolLolLol:  Hmmm am damn sure our 5 yr olds is bubble going to be burst there  :LolLolLolLol:

:LolLolLolLol:  I dont think he actually knows what carbon fibre is he just compares how heavy his bike is with other littlens ... He keeps trying to lift the front of his bike up when he goes over the jumps and thinks he cant fly like Danny White etc because his bike is too heavy  :LolLolLolLol:

Cool pics.

The track looks a bit soggy, what was it like going from mud to tarmack and back again?

I don't want to get all controversial or threadjack but bicycle MOTOCROSS?  I aint ever seen a tarmac berm on an mx track?  Surely when someone comes underneath you with the 'pro-elbow', that's gonna hurt when you go down?
