Your first purchase?

So.... when you discovered that the OS BMX scene was alive and kicking.... what did you buy/build first?
For me it was this GT Pro which i bought from Germany for 279 Euros.... Bargain
It came with white Hutch mags which i quickly removed and burnt..... and the frame was black powdercoated.... the rest of the spec was as you see it.... I just stripped the frame....added front and rear NOS Blue DC MX1000s bought from Alans for £34.99 the pair
A'me Tris, an Elina Flight Tech seat and Proclass wheels

This thread on those prices are depressing. I've been into this for just over 4 years now and I remember buying an nos gold mx1000 with tech 2 and yellow dc cable for £23 delivered thinking it was dear. Yellow kashimax aero for £16. Elina lighning bolt for £20. Didn't buy a camo SE pad from skatepool for £20 as I thought it was pricey. Got red mx1000's from cyclesport for £6.50 each though....anyway that's for another thread.
this master f&f was my first purchase, xmas 2003 - can't remember how much, somewhere around £150 - £175 I'm guessing, not that much of a bargain.

er, still waiting for delivery of my first 'proper' project bike, a zeronine. I've been restoing bikes for mates but this will be my first bike for me.
I've got a 'last us built' floval and PK but don't count them as i've had them pretty much continually.
So Marty, those cranks are wrong on that GT fella, wanna trade for a lovely 165mm OPC?

1st one I bought was this Pro-Lite at a boot sale for £12....please excuse the photo, digital cameras were not that good in 1999/2000 (at least not the one I could afford)

bought a loop pk off ebay in summer 2003, didn't finish it as got distracted with other builds since then, just used to look at it every so often
thinking about it, parcelfarce nearly f*cked that up also, as took 3 months to deliver it and charged me £60 odd in custums, fines and the like
sold it to MonkeyBiscuits a couple of years ago (who bought it cheaper than i paid for it in 2003
