NEW SE TEAM
« on: November 25, 2007, 08:37 PM »
Well, not really, just mine and the kids bikes just tarted up to maybe do a race or two next year. I'm binning the ripper as I just can't ride a 20 anymore but the floval is luverly.  Put shorter cranks on my boys bike (Cosmo, yes my son is named after the BMX Action cat!) and higher bars on my daughers bike (Jasmin Pixie)

The PK has to go, i built to ride it but jeeze, can't ride a 20 anymore!

f-ing RAD Clive, really nice line up.

As they are all named (nice touch), shouldnt your 24" have "OM" decals on it?  :2funny:

Got another floval to trade? I want to do a gold one and hack of the canti bosses.  There was a minter on fleabay US but it sold yesterday to someone in london.

That was Tom lynches ripper, PK XL, US built, very seldom ridden, in PERFECT shape.

OK I can ride a twenty but I MUCH prefer riding the croozer, maybe too many years on mtb's......having said that, i haven't given it much of a go, rode the Pk for about half a mile, looped out trying to manual a bit of pavement.............

Yeah Matt, that's the one, I 'donated' my 401's to Toms patty rebuild and 'inherited' the ripper!

Stick with it Clive, it will come back.  I've ridden track, road and mtb for years and spent most of my time trying to pull tricks and stuff on my mtb that I could do on my 20, so I bought a 24 cruiser; loved it until I got another 20 and it's been in the garage ever since  :LolLolLolLol:

Clive, you were always a good rider (you wouldn't have been in so many mags if you weren't) so the 20" skills will come back.  Get back into the swing of things on the cruiser, then rip it up again on the 20".

You'll be doing Leary Look Backs within a year!

Hi Clive.
Your thinking of doing a few races then, excellent.. Ive done 3 in the last 6 weeks and loving it, (beats the hell out of the MTB races ive done over the post BMX years). 24 not 20, but I do hope to get a 20 on the go eventually. See you Saturday.
