Import/Export Commodity Codes
« on: November 08, 2007, 12:56 PM »
I know there's been some talk about import duty so hopefully the following link will assist in this.

Whenever an item is imported/exported, it requires a commodity code (aka Tariff Heading). Having these clearly identifiable on the box can improve the speed of the delivery and also make sure the correct amout of duty is paid.

The following link is for cycle items (EU only)

http://www.uktradeinfo.com/index.cfm'task=icncomcode&Heading=8714&strmatch=cycle

Alternatively you can call 0845 0109000

Once I've found a decent international list I'll update the thread.

Might be worth sticking this.
Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.
