Headset Problem.

Putting a 84 Cali together and have bought a cheapo headset for it. When all screwed together there's a gap between the knurled and the locking nut, it looks about 3 mm. can you buy a spacer on it's own to fit or do I strip and throw it all and buy a Hatta unit?.

Forgot to mention, no tab washer came with it , but if it did It would'nt be thick enough.

I'd try and pick up a couple of washers from a local bike shop if I were you  :daumenhoch:

your fork stem is too long, stick a tange/suntour headset lock on it  :daumenhoch:
