Apologies for this as I know this has come up before but I can't find the thread.

What size spoke and nips do I need to build Araya Aeros with large flanged hubs? I remember long nips are the way to go, and I think I read it was 177mm spokes I needed. Can anyone confirm please?

YEP 177mm for a large flange hub on araya aero 3 cross pattern.

Customer Riders only have about 30, 177mm spokes and they aren't getting any more in. 30's no bleeding good for 2, 36 spoked wheels now is it?

Does anywhere else stock them? I'm after stainless steel. I've looked but with no luck.

Custom Riders do have 179mm spokes available. Any thoughts on whether these will work with my Aeros and large flanges, maybe using short nipples?

There's a fella on the bay who will custom cut the lengths you spec. I have had some from him, reasonable price, just search for spokes
