Author Topic: HELP NEEDED AT DAGGERS 21ST JULY AND 22ND JULY (Read 2792 times)

Hello everyone, As you know the OSSS07 is going to be racing at Daggers on the 22nd July, which is also a regional race.
Is anybody able to help?
On Saturday from 5pm we will be sweeping the track and need a few volunteers to help, there will be pizza and drinks for the helpers, we will also set the gate up for some sneaky gate practice

On the Sunday we really are short staffed and could do with help, jobs include car park program's, pen staff, call up staff, as well as help setting up and packing away.
If you can help it would mean a great deal to the club and help an already overworked committee as well.

Oh Shit ... am really sorry but was just about to offer my services then thought the date rang a bell ... the kids have their dance show on the 22nd which they have been rehearsing for for the last 5 months!!!! Am really sorry !!! ............ not sure how long it will be til Matthew talks to me again either as Ive bought him a ticket for the show too!!!!

We will be there i'm sure Jamie brings half the start hill home in any case , in his shoes, pockets, hair, ears. Anyway just give him a dustpan brush and let him go.

i have to take Chloe' to strood on Saturday for some jujitsu show.

I think it finishes around 2ish so will come over right after .....save me a broom.

Dont know if ill be racing Sunday though.

You can see why I get confused in this house ...... Matthew is taking Chloe to that this Saturday. He will be there helping you sweep on the Saturday 21st July (I'm still looking on ebay for a proper sweeper though). I've also given him a pass for the Sunday but the kids wont be there as they have to be in their dance show.

Thank you for those kind words Humps xx I'm just sorry i cant be there to help to be honest. I'm very grateful to all the people that organise all the bmx training and race meets, its great to be able to do something as a family that doesnt break the bank (although it is nearing it these days

). I must say though I'm surprised there havnt been more people offering to help.
