what do i need to do to fit a gyro to my 1" threaded forks? do i need a special kind of headset? any info please as ive never fit one of these before...

ok you need the bit that goes under the top cup mate
and the rest of the giro

needs painting or green paint stripping as its craply painted

i just putting the frame together that bill gave me & want to put one on, i didnt know what i was supposed to buy & what kind of headset i need

i fink a normal metal one will work best with a giro
and not the fancy ali ones as they wil be to wide for giro to work
tioga ones beartrap i fink
or cheap ones from halfords

Yip.  Just a good old fashioned headset will do the trick as the gyro doesn't directly have owt to do with it other than one of the cable hangers sits on top of the headtube being held in place by the headset cup.  :)
