little update on my PK Ripper
« on: May 27, 2007, 09:38 AM »
Most of you have seen my PK Ripper already.
This was the most difficult bike I ever build, colors and parts choice.
Here a before pic with Araya Aero rims and Comp III tyres.

I wasn't totally satisfied with that look, so I changed the wheels.
Araya 7X with Vredestein Cross tyres, comp II look.
The black tyres comes much better out with the rest I think.
Added a black Haro color plate for the finishing touch.
And the pad set got a print  ;)

So, does it look better now?
I think YES!

No skinwalls anymore.
This tyre excist from around 82 and bitd you had them in different colors and skinwall only.
These days they only make all black tyres..........but the thread (pattern?) is still the same like in 82!

I think it looks real good either way  :daumenhoch:

Really like the Comp 2 style tyres - would be great if in skinwall but you can't have everything  :LolLolLolLol:

Better to crash and burn than fade away
