Getting a bid crowded with Haro's in here, isn't it..?
« on: April 24, 2007, 01:40 PM »
This possibly isn't the best time to unveil a new Haro Gen 1 build, but hey, i'm gonna do it anyway.

I might swap out either the black grips for blue ones, or the blue seat for a black one. Any advice gratefully received.

I'm also considering swapping out the black Tuffs for white or blue. But this is pretty much all I have left at the moment spart from some black bits and pieces.

Anyway, voila.  :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Be gentle with me please. This is my childhood dream finally realised. I now have one of the three bikes I lusted after as a kid. The others being a Pro Performer (f&f on their way to me now) and a T/A, which I had as a child. My long term project is to build the T/A I had BITD.

Cheers

HRD

EDIT: I'll take some more pics when I can find the damn charger for my camera.

FURTHER EDIT: removed the pic and replaced it with a pic with a black seat. I agree with those below, it looks so much better with that seat on. Thanks all  :daumenhoch:

Nice bike man...i take it that you have contacted greentoad(gem) or jay regarding the serial number of it.
great build, congrats.

:smitten:  That's great that mate. I know what you mean about posting it up. I've just built my Gen1 up over the weekend but I don't want to post it up because of the same reason. There's been loads of them up recently.

But I suppose you can't get enough of them Haro's  :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

Thanks for the comments all. I'm so totally stoked by this bike! Damn I can't stop looking at it and smiling.  ::)

Sorry Dave, this one is mine.  ;D

Serial number has already been sorted.

The white Master is being built at the moment. Now i've got the Gen 1 built I'll take stock of what bits and pieces I have left over and see about getting the Master finished. Just got some Haro Freestyle bars from Mark_J on here today. I haven't opened them yet as I was too busy on the Gen 1  :D

No really, can't be bored by too many Haro's  :D

Nice nice build HRD !
I'd go for a black seat and the color scheme would be great IMO. :smitten:
It would be a bit different from this guy's bikes, you know, the one with all blue parts, "Mombloke" or whatever...  :LolLolLolLol:

that is nice mate very nice, i prefer the earlier dropouts so much more than the later stand on versions like my 88 sport

what year did they change the dropouts from gen 1 ?

The first master and sport were 84, and they had the good drop outs.
After that they went silly with the foot standers.

Ohh, check me out. knowing about Haros!

Sorry about posting my Haro master earlier this week, but talk about pull the rug from under me :-[

I've got a (crappy) black seat fitted now but I only have my phone to take pictures on as I can't find the battery charger for my camera  :tickedoff:

I'll try to find the charger and also get a decent seat once I get paid.

Changed the pic on the first post to one with a black seat. I think it looks so much better now. Thanks for the afdvice everyone. it's appreciated.

I'm still finding my feet when it comes to these builds.
