Have you seen these cable clips before? They have 'Torker' stamped on them, that's why I wondered if the Freestylist came as a complete :-\

Anyone know where to get those small brake cable clips, have PRO X in the middle of collecting parts, would look a lot better than tape or cable ties?????

That's funny the ad  says ' soon to be seen on this side of the water ' and somebody said the other night the freestylist was made in England  ???
Right or wrong ?

The other reason i was thinking it might be a 'complete' was, except for the bars and grips that are later additions, the choice of parts are very 'middle of the road' similar to what you might expect to find on a complete? SR Seatpost clamp, spider, chainring & pedals. Dia-compe 890 brakes, Araya rims with suzue hubs, Suntour power stem?

The thing is, if it's not a complete I really want to strip it of the parts (to use on other bulids) and give it a restoration job.

My Torker was stock when i got it Phil and apart from the seat, pedals and grips looks to be the same parts as that. Does the seat have a Torker sticker on the back?

No Torker sticker on the seat Bob, but it also may be a later addition.  ???

Those pedals were common on complete freestylers ('84 GT Pro performer for example) so it may be that they might be one diference? ???

Thanks for the information anyway Bob, I'm now starting to think it was either offered as a complete bike or a shop has put one together using virtually all the parts from another complete (say a 280 prox).

I remember seeing those bars way back in a mag and liked them so much I got my dad to braze a cross into a pair of vector copies...

Will be up at his at the weekend. Will see if I can find them..

Not quite what you guys are looking for, I know, but I'll see if I can get them.

Brian.

I always though that frame set was well cool and really, to me, epitomised 80's freestyle bikes along with the white Redline Prostyler
