from ackworth, anyone remember this guy, he was featured in a bmx action thingymagig at the back.

He was sponsored by some obscure make like wild cat, used to hang out with him at the track although we were into freestyle he used to stick out like a sore thumb cos he was so f***ing fast. He had a deep scar between his eyebrowse from a nasty crash.....some muppet told him to ware a helmet.

Last i heared he married a mate of a mates sister and was driving an integraly turbo (lhd obviously) in the early nineties.

BET MY LEFT DX PEDAL NOBODY ON HERE KNEW HIM..........HE COULD HAVE BEEN A CONTENDER

Yes I remember Ben Cook. I raced against him at an indoor event held at Rufforth Equestrian Centre, must have been 82 or 83. He won I took second.
