What was the thing with the back brake at the start, did you have to adjust it ?
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

cool vid. i wish i had some of my competition runs videod...

it's definitely not 1985 though.  86 seems more likely.  the quickspin and backwards infinity roll didn't come out until 86.  i remember the first time anyone had seen the quickspin over here in the uk. scott freeman came over and done it.  it was the first up to date trick i had learnt. i learnt it the day after i saw scotty do it.  i remember about a month later, freestyle bmx were raving about the fact that craig campbell pulled it in his routine. i thought to myself, how cool am i as i learnt it about a month earlier...  ::)

Nice footage m8... Not easy for a younger, smaller guy to pull some of those moves.

yeah the bike looks massive

action bars, SR stem and Speedwheels spinner all added to the extra height!!!

I had an adjustable seatclamp to put my seat up for the quickspin

I saw you grabbing for that a few times, i thought you had unhooked the quick release on the brakes with your foot. I used to do that regularly...  ;D    Annoying
