AERO PRO ... ALMOST COMPLETE
« on: January 28, 2007, 01:53 PM »
Nearly finished my latest project and one I've been after for some time now ... I loved my Aero Pro BITD

All parts are original except the seat, wheels and tyres. Everything else has been stripped, cleaned and restored ... even the nuts, bolts and washers have been polished  :crazy2:

BEFORE

AFTER

Pro Class wheels are only temporary until I find some decent 7W's. Just need to fit a new chain, grips, pads and brake cables to complete

A massive thumbs up to Del for selling me the bike and for a super smooth deal ... thanks mate  :daumenhoch:

Just finished restoring my Araya 7W's ... polished rims, stainless spokes with black nips and repro hub and rim decals

I've also fitted Comp III's, Dia Compe cables and a chain so I think that's about it for now. I do have pads but forgot to fit them before taking the pics

Huge thanks to Steve (Firebird) for the pads and to Mark (cbrgil) for the wheels, decals, chain and cable  :daumenhoch:

that looks really nice steve
beats "team colours" and plastic wheels any day of the week
the araya aeros are the best old school wheels bar none

it don't need no pads ;)

that is the nicest aero pro i have seen in a long time. looks like a proper race bike
