skyways question
« on: January 13, 2007, 12:26 PM »
hi people, im starting a rebuild/ refresh on my 83/84 DP Freestyler and want to switch the wheels to a set of tuff II's (currently fitted with curved arayas, sealed suntour hubs) but my question is..... Alloy or Plastic hubs??? whats right year wise? is there a reason the plastic hub ones are cheaper? will the bigger boys beat me up for having the wrong ones?? please help!

interesting offer steve, the rims are straight but to be honest a respoke is probably needed to make them nice again (long story but last owner left it outside in a garden for 5 or 6 years...) the hubs run ok but again, new bearings would sweeten them right up (sealed suntour, black ) can prob get u some pics if ur still interested?
