84 haro master
« on: January 07, 2007, 08:53 PM »
Hi, I bought this back in 1984, it was originally chrome as in the picture (sorry about picture quality). I decided to redo it white with some new parts, just about there now just need chain and some more chainring bolts !! :)

Lovely dude - black tuffs are so perfect on Haro's. It's great to have your original bike...I have mine and I'll never ever part with it.

both sweet bikes,
loving the haro vector bars!  are they genuine?
i had a pair as kid the lasted ages before i finally snapped them,

mks graphites too :daumenhoch:

keep the black tuffs and lose the daft slick tyres!

are they early primo comets?

The slicks are Tioga Comp Pool tires, I don`t know if primo copied them, or are anything to do with primo  ???
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,

Very Nice, you just got to love a Haro, but those graphite tuffs for me.

This is a great start to 2007, with a another rare Haro coming out in style.

 :4_17_5:

What's the serial please, and do you know when you bought it, where, what shop etc, and date.....also do you have a reciept?

Thanks

J.

J you've allready got the serial it is TDD 4599F.
I think I bought June or July 1984 because I rode it in the six weeks holidays from school.
I bought it from Bates Cycles, Yarm Road, Darlington. I havent managed to find the receipt but it was for £425 if my memory is correct.
I am still trying to find the receipt as well as other old pics.
