Carlo is best to ask but as far as i remember it was given to Carlo to try by MD in about 87-88 and what is left is the test result

The frame is the MDP prototype. I thought Carlo had got it from Shiner when he left Skyway and was looking for a frame to ride. I thought I had seen one of these before and if I'm right its the same frame as seen in this thread

Check out the futuristic black frame in the middle of the first photo half way down the page. You'll understand why the headtube snapped off!!

In that case Voris Dixon built the MDP as well then. Here's another chrome one, it's owned by a friend of Maurice Meyer (German chap who's name I can't remember)
