Epic OS Rides
« on: November 25, 2006, 07:00 PM »
Just finished this 84 Sport off for riding at Epic

I was trying to build something that was in the spirt of the showroom spec but with a few upgrades like sealed BB and hubs plus pedals that might actually have a bit of grip, as the frame and forks are in survivor condition I have tried to use mainly 2nd hand parts.

Anybody else taking an OS to ride?

Cheers

Andy

Si the decals are the originals (the F&F is actually a lot more scratched up than it looks in the photos)

Jay if I like it yer might need a crow bar to get me off it

Self, it's a long time since I rode beartraps (1985ish) so I can't remember how bad they are might just pack a set of DX's just incase.

Probably gonna ride this, a mix of old & mid school although still not sure about the tyres ???, then again, can't decide which  pedals, wheels, bars combination to use, changed the layout so many times  :-\ :-\ :-\. Any one else have this problem?

I bought it off the bay a few years ago. The feller had it from new, and even brought it round in the original box (too mullered to save though) It had Zytecs on it, but most of the original parts stayed on it, when I did the deal with Phil.
