Dan,  the kid with the Oakley braces I was thinking of was Ralph Tribe.  Seeing his name just now has reminded me  :)

I believe it was after Billy. But he was there with Craig, Carlo, Jamie Morley, Tony McKenzie...
I think he might even has been there when Neil Ruffell was on the team.

Dan - We used to go Sundays, I bet we were there with you and never knew it. I used to remember seeing Pikey, Billy, Currey, Pat, Marco down there. You lot were the kings of Rom.

Dan - Billy's a big lad at 6' 1". I was a little runt at 14 as you can see from the pic.

Billy - looking good on the x-ups. It was always one of my fav. airs. The secret to a good x-up is to cut 1 inch off the ends of the bars. I used to cut all my bars down, it really helped.

Here's me in the P. Bowl with cut down CW bars. '83

damon  that pic in the p bowl,  awsome,   no one airs that bowl today with style, the kids today

just cant air it,  same as the pool,  it's funny in our day it was so normal to air it,  and i honestly

cant remember hooking up either :coolsmiley:

as for billy he's got the xups and does sweet one foot airs so i keep trying to get him to put the two together,

when he does i'll get the pic,   nothing sweeter then a xup one foot table air ;)

That's because the youngsters carve to air and that's hard to do in the performance bowl... Old School all the way!  :daumenhoch:

Hey Vinoah - Thanks for the pic of Ralph, I remember that night TLB came round to do a photo shoot, the ramp was only 4 feet wide and I remember us both coming off the side of the ramp and crashing into all his camera lights and equipment. What a laugh.

Ralph was one of greats from back then and like the old Rom lot, disapeared from the scene. He would have definitely been sponsored had he not quit.

Here's a cool pic of Ralph doing a salute...Steve Baldry AKA Crazy Leggs is watching on...

Me riding The Baby Kong 4 ft wide - We built this ramp in my front garden, that was the best feeling ever, coming home from school and having a session with all your mates. Neighbours went mad.     :idiot2:

Ralph chilling...(check out Fiola on the wall, love that pic)

Cool pics Damon. I never realised how high Tony Mac used to get...

I love that 1/4 in your front garden. How cool would that have been as a kid....
