Daz,basically the story goes that the guy I bought the bike off  rode at southsea back in the day and CC rode there when he could get a lift down off his mum and dad, they got to know each other over a period of time until one day CC turned up and told the guy about his sponsorship, the guy offered to buy his old bike and the deal was done,it didnt come to him with the flights or the tuffs it was only slightly more than a frame and forks to which he added all his own parts,I asked a few questions on here when I bought the bike and spoke to greentoad and everything seems to fit,I then took it  to MK 07 for him to have a look,I think he was convinced,he did get a bit upset at one point when I told him I was going to paint it with a brush ;)sorry dude >:Dall thats left for me to do now is seriously think  on whether I should do it as a survivor or rechrome it,most of the parts I have for it are NOS so I need to make up my mind

Jon

Cheers Jon, thanks for taking the time to give me the story.

I'd build it as a survivor, don't re-chrome it for fooks sake!

It's a part of freestyle history whichever way you look at it.

HiYa Jon

Glad that you still got it, but no way should you re-chrome, that's my opinion as said before.

If you polish too much or re-chrome you will lose the ID and all the sticker ghost marks - they are only visible by eye and you'll never be able to take pictures of them.

It is a piece of history and as we both know, is also damaged / cracked in strange places indicating that CC had big air and also did some hard landings, a re-chrome would hide it all.

J.
