Quote from: Retrodan72 on January 29, 2021, 09:53 PMHas anyone actually seen the Holeshot frame, to know if it could potentially be up for sale? I vaguely remember seeing some pics of Andy's of tubs of bike bits, but don't recall any frames other than the ones he owned himself. There's no evidence to suggest that this frame still exists. Neil could have binned it leaving just the forks behind. I'm not sure Andy or Dave would be the type of blokes to split them up and let's face it, it's pointless having one if you don't have the other imho.So why don't somebody ask him on the Rad Faceache site then? then people will know

I guess the frame went in the skip, probably cracked in a few places.

291 squids and bidding on the forks!! wtf??
yeah, 2 bids retracted, one of 450!bit odd...
Quote from: Uksupergoose on February 01, 2021, 10:59 AMyeah, 2 bids retracted, one of 450!bit odd...At a guess, I?d probably say that legit bids were submitted by people that wanted to secure the forks thinking that the frame would be along soon and since it has transpired that there is no frame, retracted their bids.
Fair play but I could find a lot better things to spend 360 quid on

Let's be honest, OSBMX could be classed as a niche hobby, and Andy/Neil's parts are only worth anything to us and by us, I mean our generation that remember them from the golden era of BMX Beat and Kellogg's etc. Even the truest of collectors that are slinging cash at these parts must have an area in their brains that is telling them that when their kids find them in a box in the garage in years to come, they will basically just have scrap value.
Listed an 87/88 Robinson frame and forks which is also over what its worth already, nice frame sets but not the year Robinson that makes good money like the early gusseted type, there's some people out there with too much disposable income lol bidding up his stuff
Bit salty in here...
Wow. What a complete bunch of fookin idiots the bidders must be on eBay right now 700 sheets for an old dirty number plate that hasn't even got the decals on it the fella rode BITD Just looked at the other items - some people have far too much cash lying around
