Rusty Spokes
« on: July 07, 2019, 01:42 PM »
It's probably been asked a million times before, but what do people use when wanting to save and clean up rusty spokes? Bitd I used to use a brillo pad but just wondering if things have moved on in the last 35 years!

The reason for asking is shown in the pics below. :daumenhoch:

My race was cancelled today so for the first time in some 35 years, I sat down and cleaned up my spokes with some wire wool and elbow grease, followed by a bit of Peek's! I dare say I could have spent longer and got some better results, but am nonetheless pleased that they still look survivor but with more of a weathered rather than rusty finish! :daumenhoch:
