Rack your brains gents....
« on: March 30, 2018, 02:42 PM »
.... I'm looking for a very specific brake part. The little thick washer section with a slot in it to hold the spring on a caliper.
They are usually fixed to/part of the pivot bolt but I'm sure I've seen some individual threaded ones somewhere.
Just can't remember where  :-\

Any idea lads?

not sure if DC buldogs had a threaded one on em?  i think the set i have has a locknut behind the spring so it may just be loose on the pivot bolt ?

could you  not knock one up :chin:

any good looks like it's pressed on so should come off the pivot bolt ?

Doesn't necessarily need to be threaded but they seem to be part of the Bolt rather than lose. Pretty sure I've seem em bunt can't for the life of me find em or pin down the exact name of em for a search  :-\

the ones from a dc centraliser just slide on but their not round, they have the extra bit for the spring.
