it was a chrome hooligan/b-guard with black GT four piece bars and same colour WAL forks, and 2inch wide black/amber PROLITE f/s tyres and the famous "GRIFTER" seat those seats had no rails to bend/break as it was solid cast plastic and padded, there was a mini interview and bike check in an early issue of RIDE that's about all I can remember from reading those early(1-3) issues, till the covers fell off and corners went dog eared all those years ago, and the really comical sight of the"HELMET and MULLET" mr-ridgerage was sporting I'm sure he still has nightmares about that major fashion malfunction, ive met him loads of times on the LEEDS CREW summer road-trips, when passing through BRIDPORT on the devon/cornwall section hes a top guy.......JUST DONT LET HIM GET MAD----explosion
yep that's the mini interview theres also some pics with black WAL forks, but that must be in another issue when he did the "HOW TOs" he and ROB STEWERT seem to appear loads in the first few RIDES and last few INVERT issues
I'm sure theres some pics with the WAL forks but its 20+yrs of memories I'm relying on , anyway you've got the WAL forks now and pretty much everything apart from the bashguard and GT/fourpiece
