Had one of these for my first BMX back in the day (mum and dad couldn't afford a silver streak like my mate had around the corner). Loved it to bits and rode the crap out of it. This frame and forks came up last year, and even though it wasn't chrome and had been powdered I had to have it.

It's not completely factory spec but I wanted to add a bit of the Diamondback look as well (hence the candy stripe seatpost etc..) to show its heritage. Hope you likey.....

Headset - Tange
Crank - nos Takagi 175 OPC
Chainring- nos Sugino snowflake
Seat - MX Copy
Pedal - rat traps
Seatpost - nos Chang Star red/silver fluted
Wheels - ukai 1.50 on Suzue low flange hubs
Tyres - nos kenda comp III
Brake caliper - nos DC 1020
Brake lever - nos shimano
Brake cables - nos clarks powerglide
Pads - esemdesign

My first bmx as well - blue paint with gold steel wheels and yellow tyres! It took everything an 11 year old dirt jumper could through at it!!! Killed the pedals though! Great build.

Lovely looking build.

Always wanted one in the early days of riding, I know they were considered lower end but there's just something about them. You should be very proud, a great example, well done.

Love it that was my first bmx same as McQueen a blue and yellow one. My parents traded in the yellow chopper and I was off on my first bmx, brings it all flooding back.
