BMX/Ninja Scooter Advice
« on: August 01, 2016, 08:55 AM »
I have one of these that belonged to my Mrs's Brother on the late 80's. It was left abandoned in my Father in law's garage for many years, then 3 years ago, they asked me to strip it down and restore it.

I did strip it down, cleaned/replaced bearing cups, cleaned the 12" mag wheels up, cleaned the 12" whitewall tyres etc etc, basically did as much as I could to it, without spending any money.

It's sat where I left it 3 years ago as I had too many other things getting in the way of it, but yesterday, I had a go at putting it back together.

I hit my first snag, as I can't connect my pump to the inner tube valve. The pump will fit of the valve, but I can't lift the lever on the pump to lock in place, as it won't go past the spoke on the mag wheel - I'll take a pic later.

Any have any suggestions, or had this themselves?

Ah yes, of course, the good old-fashioned cycle pump, forgot all about those.

Cheers for the offer Lee, I'll get one off eBay mate.  :daumenhoch:
