BMX lessons for beginners
« on: July 29, 2016, 09:05 PM »
Just wondered if any knows a BMX instructor around south of the U.K. that can do 1 on 1 instruction ...

I feel I would benefit from some expert advice and tuition ..

Cheers
Paul

Get yourself to MK mate, plenty of us will give you some help there. Just come say hello around the ramps and we'll get you rolling :coolsmiley:

If not most of the folk on here in the south are collectors but there are a good few rides to watch out for. Phil Sawzall and Lee Nitrohopper organise a few in the Portsmouth / Hants neck of the world I recall ???

Unfortunately you will need to move to the grim north to get any decent skatepark lock-ins...... just ask Rob Pickle :2funny:
Still limping......

Cheers guys ...

Is the MK meet or just a general thing at the park ??

I live in between Reading and Basingstoke ...

It's more to learn some basics on both flat ground and ramps .. Bit of vanity in it if I'm honest I don't want to look a complete prat at a skatepark be good to know some moves ... Took my son to the local park this morning (8.30) he loved it bombing around I had 10 attempts at turning the bike around on a quarter pipe and ended up at the base in a heap 10 times which my son found hilarious .. Be nice to know a few moves to pass on when he gets a bit bigger ..

I think with age not really on my side what ever help I can get will make the whole thing more enjoyable especially if I can stay out of the hospital ...

One thing I have learned is learn to crash with style !!
