Its easily done if youve bought a LHD freewheel by mistake, I bought a lovely ACS claws freewheel that turned out to be lhd, been sat on a shelf ever since.
the entire crank will loosen itself while riding which would be amusing to say the least

A prominent Facebook group leader once built his new frame up like this, whilst me and a few friends sat smirking. It wasn't until he turned the bike onto it's wheels and tried to pedal that he realised what he'd done, cue much laughter and 20 odd years of reminders. This will have a standard freewheel but obviously won't move you forwards if you crank it. It will go quite fast backwards.
