Help with ID of this Diamondback
« on: June 13, 2015, 07:55 AM »
Hi I'm looking to buy this bike to restore. The guy said he thinks it's a silverstreak but the back section that runs down from the seat post makes me think it isn't as the restored silverstreaks I've seen don't have this box type section

The serial no looks like it is. OJ031 but can't read it properly.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Here you go mate. Down as a Diamond Back TK on the museum and a reference to Centurion.  Marty's right though they are early DB's.

Some info here.  :daumenhoch:

If you're asking if it's worth restoring the answer is yes.  :daumenhoch:
If you're asking what's it worth you'll find out when the auction ends.  :feebay:

Just found one with OJO serial number says it's a 1980 large pro. That's all I can find.

It's not a large pro mate... it's not got a loop tail.

Did you click on the above link.   ???

Yes but the TK models serial no don't match. A little confused.
I'm new to restoring and just want to know year and model of it before I start project.
