Just spotted this and it looks close to the bike i had as a kid, any ideas on the model?

I dont have any serial numbers and the bars are throwing me a bit

Thought it was a cali but my memory of my old bike is a bit sketchy and didnt get any pics of me on it before it got nicked

Yep, definitely a Cali. Fairly unmolested too - just the stem and rear cable isn't original I'd guess

First thoughts was Californian but could it be an Expert? $:-\$ The rear triangle looks high on the seat post. Its not clear enough as the pad seems in the way.

Bars are Mongoose. As said stem does not look to be SR and the pedals don't seem to be correct. But these are easy to find.

Looks to be a very nice example which would look ace with a clean up.
