What width bars do most people ride? Mine are pretty wide and thinking of cutting them down a bit. Cheers :daumenhoch:

28" or 29" bars for me, cannot stand narrow bars.

Don't overthink it too much.

Just look down at your hands and their natural position on the grips. If you have some bar hanging out of the ends - lop it off!

I usually cut my bars down by a small amount - the width of a roll of insulating tape to be precise, my cutting guide...

i end up hanging onto the flange part of my non l;ever side on my 29 s . 28 s are sufficient for most average size folk i think . rise is more important (min 9 ")and a stubby top load stem.

Just got these Superstar sweet sweep bars 8.3" and 28.5 wide. I may just keep them as they are for now, I felt the chrome bars were too wide and too high? I assume they must be 9"
